CentOS in VPS Servers
You'll be able to pick CentOS for your brand new VPS server through the registration process. We offer 32-bit and 64-bit releases, so as to give you the opportunity to select the one which will be more suitable for the applications that you wish to install and run. CentOS supports a number of hosting Control Panels, and you will have a choice between cPanel, Hepsia and DirectAdmin, based on what you wish to do - to make a separate account for each domain name hosted on the server and even to start your own reseller business, or to host all your domains together and control the server as a single account. You will also have the choice to order your VPS with no Control Panel if you need a machine with CentOS, yet without the additional software that is provided with the Control Panels. This way, you will be able to set up web or database servers which are different from the default ones which we supply.
CentOS in Dedicated Servers
CentOS is one of the Operating Systems that we supply with all our dedicated server plans. During the sign-up process, you will be able to select from the 32-bit and the 64-bit release of the OS and ensure that the software environment on your new server meets the specifications of the apps that you would like to install. Compared to other Operating Systems, CentOS also allows you to choose between several website hosting Control Panels, depending on what you need the server for. With Hepsia, for example, you're able to take care of the whole server like an individual account regardless of the number of domain names which you host, while with cPanel and DirectAdmin, you can make an independent account for each and every domain name, which will give you the opportunity to start a web hosting reseller business. If you do not choose any Control Panel, you will get your server with CentOS only, as the software that comes with the Control Panels won't be installed. We also provide regular OS updates included in our own Managed Services package, so you won't have to spend time and effort downloading and setting up the most recent and most protected software on your dedicated server.
